On Wed October 14th, Instapay™ was selected as the winner, along with Finotech and KTB Solutions, to participate in the final round of the APAC 2015 Citi Mobile Challenge (CMC) Demo Day to be held in Hong Kong on November 12th. InstaPay’s simple mobile payment for home shopping that allows users ‘buy what you see instantly’ grabbed the audiences’ attention with its potential to grow globally.
The preliminary rounds were held in Citibank Korea’s main office last Wed, October 14th, to select the most
innovative fintech companies from Korea to pitch at the global event.
Twelve companies were selected amongst the 1000+ applicants to pitch in front of judges to be selected as Finalists for the last Demo Day.
InstaPay will have the opportunity to showcase its product in front of a global audience and FinTech experts and compete against other global Fintech companies from all over Asia.
The Citi Mobile Challenge is “a virtual accelerator with a robust curriculum and mentorship program aimed to inspire developers to reimagine mobile banking.” (extracted from Citi Mobile Challenge) .The Finalists will win US$100,000 and the opportunity to explore commercial relationships with Citi, leading FinTech companies, and sponsors (IBM, PWC, amongst others.)
